19th November 2008

Vonic is extremely pleased to announce the strategic partnership between Panasonic Australia and Vonic. Vonic Australia has been selected as Panasonic’s preferred voice provider.

Over eight months of rigorous testing with the Panasonic engineering team has proven without a doubt that our robust Broadsoft platform can not only handle all the SIP calls generated from Panasonic PBX’s, but also provide enhanced call features and functions within the Broadsoft Portal.

The Panasonic offering will enable existing companies which already utilise Panasonic PBX’s and new customers of Panasonic PBX’s the ability to call trunk their PBX’s into our Broadsoft platform without using the existing traditional ISDN services. The call trunking service is operated via a private circuit which can be also used for Internet, Private data network, Hosting and a lot more.

“Vonic is now a Panasonic certified SIP service provider and this great partnership has taken just under a year to unfold, with the testing of Vonic’s Broadsoft platform now complete. The substantial savings that can occur from our SIP service are fantastic to the bottom line especially during this fiscal focused time. Vonic partners with NRMA’s BusinessWise

8 May 2006

Today Vonic announced a partnership with NRMA BusinessWise, the Business Motoring division of the NRMA.

“It’s taken us months to design an introductory package specially tailored for BusinessWise clients,” said Vonic’s Business Development Manager, Mr Justin Cussel.

“We’re very proud of what we have created.”

VoIP is a sophisticated technology which replaces telephones by allowing calls to be made cost affectively, securely and conveniently over the internet. Compared with average business rates this can mean savings of between 30-50% on telephony expenses.

“We have been able to design a package that is simple and full-proof. Businesses can be certain it will be easy to use from day one,” said Mr Cussel.

“Importantly, we’ve been able to partner with major international players in a way that suits the SME market, and at prices that suit small businesses.

“Major enterprises are moving across to VoIP now; many small businesses will need to do the same to stay ahead of the game.”

“Our commitment to NRMA BusinessWise is to make sure that can happen seamlessly,” said Mr Cussel.

Tiana Smith of BusinessWise said, “This partnership means we can offer our members access to a communications package tailored to suit their business needs”

“We have chosen to partner with Vonic because we are confident they will look after our business customers.” said Tiana

Once the VoIP system is installed, crystal clear calls can be made directly from a computer or laptop using a headset and broadband connection. Users no longer need to be connected to a normal phone line or a traditional PABX.

“But the internet offers enormous flexibility,” said Mr Cussel, “Much more than standard telephones ever did.

“BusinessWise members will be offered voicemail on the go, unified messaging, phone number portability, access to a web based voice system and video conferencing systems.”

“And at last, international deals are only a local phone call away,” said Mr Cussel.
